You can find out the exact costs for each procedure on the website misiones.cubaminrex.cu or please contact Opapeleo for the rates corresponding to the service you need.
How to apply for a service?
Since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Cuban Consulate in the United States has not been providing face-to-face services.
To perform a consular service application by mail, courier or agency (i.e. non-face-to-face), an additional non-personal procedure fee of $20.00 USD per person will be charged.
Minor children and other elderly or disabled family members are exempt from this additional payment. The procedure may be performed on your behalf by a third party.
For applications performed remotely, you will need to add a pre-paid envelope to your account. This makes it possible to return the documents requested or sent for the procedure.
Please make sure you use secure and traceable courier services. Please also bear in mind that the envelope you receive is personal, if you perform a procedure for more than one person you will receive a different envelope for each one.
What are accredited consular agencies?
The Cuban consulate in the United States has established contractual agreements with agencies all over the country. This allows people who require consular services to have an agency close to their home for the procedures they require.
What procedures can be performed at these certified agencies?
Certified agencies are authorised to perform the same registry, immigration and notary procedures as the consulate, and operate as a branch of the consulate in different parts of the country.
