Certificates issued in Cuba
With Opapeleo any Cuban can request any document or certificate issued in Cuba from any location worldwide.
Our prices include shipment of your document to any location in the United States. However, we can deliver the document to any country, by simply adding the DHL fee (which ranges from $50-$100 depending on the destination country).
- If your document will be used in Cuba or before any Cuban institution, no legalization is required.
- If your document is to be used in another country, institution, university or foreign immigration authority, then legalization will be required, first at the Minrex and later at the consulate in Cuba of the country where such document will be used.
In some cases documents may require translation. Price for Certified notarized translations in the United States:
$15 for each page to be translated + $50 for Certification and Notarization service.
Typical examples:
- In the case of a Cuban passport application at the Cuban consulate requiring a birth certificate, no authentication is required, as the application is submitted to a Cuban institution.
- When submitting your degree and curriculum to a university outside Cuba or submitting your birth certificate or other document to immigration authorities of another country, authentication will be required (additional cost detailed below).
