The tourist visa to travel to Cuba is exclusively for foreign citizens travelling to Cuba for the purpose of tourism.
This document must be presented by the traveler upon entering and leaving Cuba. This visa is valid for one entry into Cuban territory, for ninety days and can be extended for the same period only once. This allows the stay in Cuba for a total of 180 days.
There are two different types of tourist visas for travel to Cuba:
- The Blue color Tourist visa, identified in the same way with the green color. It is useful and intended for all travelers who need a tourist visa.
- The Pink Tourist Visa It is aimed at every traveler entering Cuba from the United States on direct or transit flights.
Both types of visas are similar and differ only in color and price since the pink visa has a slightly higher cost than the blue visa.

Other facts about the tourist visa
As from November 1, 2020, the validity of the tourist visa was extended to ninety days of stay in the national territory, being extendable only once for the same period. This extends the stay of visitors. This was announced by Juan Carlos García Granada, Cuban Minister of Tourism, on his Twitter account.
