When a young person decides to continue his or her education outside of his or her home country, he or she must consider a variety of factors and options.
One of the most accessible options for Cuban students is to apply for a scholarship in a country with a better economic situation, where there are opportunities to continue their studies totally or partially free of charge.
Although there are opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students, in this document we will focus on the opportunities for career advancement that exist for people who already have a college degree, so we will focus on postgraduate fellowships and what it takes to access them.
Interested students must gather a number of essential documents to study abroad and follow a specific procedure to obtain their study visa, if they are not already in the country where they wish to study.
Documents required to obtain a study visa
